It was a crime that shook the nation but more surprising was the path of forgiveness and compassion forged in its wake. THE AMISH PROJECT is a fictional exploration of the Nickel Mine shootings. Seven characters including the gunman's widow, the gunman and two Amish schoolgirls unravel an extraordinary chain of events. Imbued with poetry and humor, THE AMISH PROJECT examines a community grappling with loss and faith. The design team includes: Lauren Helpern (set and costumes), Nicole Pearce (lighting) and Jill BC DuBoff (sound).
